| Penarth 17th April. Managed to get out on the boat at last. As my mate was working I took his 16yr old son out with me. Not a bad days sport. Went left out of the barrage and fished the foreshore for a while. Had a nice codling about 4 1/2lb and a couple of undersized ones and whiting. Then the wind blew up a bit so went inshore for a while. Couple more small codling there then it blew up a bit more so went for the last hour or so off the ranny. Couple more small ones there again and the last cast saw the young lad haul in a lovely plump codling about 3 1/2lb. Good for him too. Thats more than his dads had this year.....Caught all the codling on cocktails of rag, squid and frozen tiger prawns. Going out again tomorrow (tuesday) i`ll let you all know what happens... __________________ Andy. ------------------- Treat each day as your last, one day you`ll be right.     |
