Easterly winds...from my surfing days these were brilliant and as rare as rocking horse... (with the right conditions)...from the fishing perspective their pants and every trip i've had out this autumn and winter has been you guessed it easterly...and none of them were forecast...

Well done Mike, we were out Sunday too, we decided to stay close in along the foreshore as I am just recovering from knee surgery, Very quiet we managed 3 small codling and 2 staps plus 2 decent fish dropped funny thing was as soon as daylight was lost we started hitting fish. Should have headed out towards the centre with all the other boats didn't hear much being hooked over the VHF. Never mind out Friday on an allnighter looking for my first double for the year.
