Cod ....cod ....cod....

Up early for mondays trip,to be greeted with a phone call cancelling .So off we went in to the dense fog to try out some new marks and see what we could catch.Myself,Dan the skipper and his fiance aboard .A few good fish were caught on lug/rag/squid coctails, fished uptide on pennel rigs .All in all a pretty good day at the "office",despite the customers not turning up !!!

Yes ,deposits safe, and the trip rearranged, its a charity that help homeless people get back on their feet, they only cancelled coz understandably, the people dont have too much in the way of money or lots of clothes to combat the cold.So we`ll look forward to their company another day soon....

Re: Cod ....cod ....cod....

Don't catch them all
I've just arranged with the Tim The Spaniard to join you on the 11th again.
looking forward to it and may have a new rod to christen. Just can't make my mind up to go fror the greys or suveran and then the dilema of upto 8oz casting or 10oz

hopefully will have made a decision in within 3 weeks!!!

Re: Cod ....cod ....cod....

Look forward to seeing John, on the rod subject i`d go for the 10oz much nicer action with the 8oz leads, its good to have a bit in reserve, doesn`t stress the rod past its power curve. As for Suveran against Greys,i have a Suveran as does Richard, Danny has a Greys, both super rods personal choice really as i`m biased i`d say get the Suveran !!!!!.......

Re: Cod ....cod ....cod....

I'm still undecided.
The Greys has a magical option though.
They are all garanteed for life!! you know how easy it is to shut the car door on your rod tip evry couple of years don't you!!!!

John
