it was a good afternoon, the only thing we caught was small whitting, which we returned except for one which swallowed the hook. we put on larger hooks up to size 4/0 but still nothing bigger. the thing that annoyed me was two blokes by us from hereford, every fish they caught they kept whitting up to a maximum of 4oz, one dab maybe 3oz, he said the whitting was for his cat the cat dont like big fish he said . did hear there was a flounder caught about 2lb. but god was it freezing. now i am having a beer
