Mumbles pier (with Brandon Jones)

Thank you to Brandon jones(the British shore caught COD record holder) who organised a children and parents fishing day at mumbles pier.
i woke up yesterday to a lovely sunny day after the week of rain and wind that we have had here.
just right for our fishing lesson on mumbles pier with brandon jones .
arrived in mumbles at 10am in the morning, went in the hotel bar ,found seats for me and little birdy.
after an hour of learning about rods, reels, rigs and different kinds of baits it was time to go fishing.

After dinner we all went on to the pier to fish.and boy didn't we fish.
DOG CITY Yes they where the most caught species the other 1s that showed up today was dabs, whiting and pollack. .
Another angler had to go 1 better an catch a blinkin bass on the last cast of the day.(jammy git )

Thanks all for the great company and laffs there was about 20 of us squished on the end of the pier.
Everyone caught more than once.it was great to see kids catching fish on their first time outing into the sport. (apart from 1 snapped rod and 1 broken reel) the kids still didn't give up and still had smiles worth the weight of any fish .

Brandon if i could give you a knighthood i would after hearing what you do to help children and charities.
what a man.

Birdy and little Birdy.................

p.s i caught my first ever dog fish and another 5 more just to make my arms feel like they are dropping off.(cripes they are like pulling house bricks through the water)
