| Conger on live Whiting bait..!! Well everybody enthuses above using live whiting for Conger eels,and here is the unintentional proof that it works.Sat quiet being battered around by the wind earlier this afternoon,when my rod arched towards the sea and line started peeling from the reel. A good fish was on !!.....As the leader broke the surface,a 15lb ish conger appeared,with a whiting of around a 1lb. The whiting had taken the worm and squid bait (talkin makes you miss bites ...  ) and the conger was firmly holding on to the body of the whiting..managed to get a pic just before Mr Conger decided to let go of the whitng.........Proof indeed that it live baits do work,even in very coloured water...Whats for afters..!!!!      |
