Easterly winds forecast all weekend ,which makes for an interesting day afloat,so long as you like Rollercoasters !!!. Saturday turned out to be good with light east winds, mixed catch included Cod,Congers,Thornback Rays and a few Whiting.

Sunday turned out to be a lot more uncomfortable,force 5 south eastrly making the fishing uncomfortable ,and also dicouraging the fish feeding,a few decent fish bit come to rag and squid cocktails,uptided on pennel rigs.

Best of the days cod 6lb and a cracking Spotted Ray

At least there were fish about, i normally struggle when the wind is in the east.

Easterly winds kill the fishing here too, the Spotted Ray is a georgous little fish ..
