Bristol Channel ,Cod & Conger ........

Cracking day in the Bristol Channel produced a steady flow of fish,Cod ,Conger eel,Thornback Rays whiting and Doggies, all taken on Squid & Ragworm fished on flowiing pennel rigs downtide. What a differance a couple of days make and mainly wind direction, fished the same mark as a couple of days ago,but without the East wind, much better quality fish.

Nice 5lb Cod

29lb Conger

Thornback

Re: Bristol Channel ,Cod & Conger ........

A decent day indeed considering that not much is showing at the moment!
Is this the same Lady Helen that used to be based at Swansea some years back? (Radfords ex boat) Also, is Pete Carney still doing The Chara? I know I'm going back a bit now, but just wondered if he was still going?
Cheers.
