Anyone fancy an evening at Sudbrook?

I've got a few evenings on my own from 25/10 to 27/10 and was thinking of having my first crack at Sudbrook to pinch Tommy's cod and was wondering if anyone else fancies it? I'm not sure how these days will tie in with tides though as I haven't got a tide book, really looking for high tide at around 21.00 to 22.00 as I can't get there from work until 18.30. If there's no suitable tides I'll probably go for an early session before work one morning.

Re: Anyone fancy an evening at Sudbrook?

Ill be well up for that mate BUT if theres a tide thats decent for there at a decent hour then it will absolutely rammed - heaving !!

Need at least a 12m tide to make it worth while - would be much more chance of fishing the, ledges if the tide was about midnight ish or early doors -that way it wont be so packed.

There are only about 6 ledges that you can fish from and three of those are better because they are further out in the water - trouble is everyone who is local knows this and last year it was a waste of time if you werent there about 3. 5 hours beforehand !!!

Once we know the times mate we could have a look - if its late then we could always all have a beer and tea in the pub and then get the codling at midnight - just a thought .....

Re: Anyone fancy an evening at Sudbrook?

Fine with me, I can fish anytime after about 18.30 - 19.00. Might be a bit knackered for work the next day but I'm sure no-one will notice if I'm asleep at the desk!
