| Penarth cod rays conger ?? Well very lucky as Im out tomm with mike and danny onboard the lady helen Something good about going fishing on a tuesday as it means no work ( till I get back that is ) Baits will be squid worm and going to give the green lipped mussels another go as will be using two rods so at least they will have all day to see if they work Fish - well must admit I do not care as it will be a laugh and that what counts but hopefully I just might get a cod  If not Im sure something will come aboard and at slack tide I will target conger and see if I can get a 30lb plus one !!! | Re: Penarth cod rays conger ?? good luck richard , have a good day,. you must have a freezer full of those green lip mussels  they are nice with a white wine and paris mushroom sauce, tagliatelle and some crusty bread, not sure how the cod like them done though ..... __________________ obsessed is a word used by the lazy to describe the dedicated .. species hunt team winner 2005 and 2006..with old smoothy.. |

Hmmmm......  30lb conger ,possibilites !,had a few good 20 plus eels in the last few weeks, photo`s no problem at all,which means you have to hold the slimy stinker .. Cod starting to run a bit too,best fish over the weekend 12 lb. Look forward to seeing you tomoz !.... |
