| Tenby nightmare ! Just a brief report from the weekend. Me, Shads and two others fished Tenby south beach on Friday night 8pm thru til 5am. Between us four we had just one flounder and three other bites !!! Now that was one hard session although the night sky, the 1am BBQ and supply of stella did make it a very enjoyable night !! Still - I need to start catching a few bass so if anyone has any ideas please let me me know. I guess you loose some, win some - well we were beaten hands down by the bass on Friday. Just managed to recover and have some sleep so will start planning the next bass mission and hope for more success. __________________ So near yet so far - Wembley 2008 - Zideered Right Up !     |

The Bass have disappeared rapidly from the S.Wales coastiline to,might be something to do with the hoards of joey mackerel the warm weather has brought over to S.Wales.Mr Bass is just not hungry,just full up on fresh baby mackerel.The upside is the tope are moving inshore chasing Mackerel too At least you managed to get a BBQ and beer on the go so even with out fish sounded like a top fishing trip to me !.... And my mates wont let me forget thtat we spent all night and caught bugger !!!! Hi Geejayy me too from 23rd - staying at wisemans bridge - whent there last year not bad fishing from saundersfoot harbour - if u see a big bald brummie driving a blue ford focus estate thats me - may see u at the harbour one night - to many in the day and no room - but all depends on tide times any idea what ther are ? fished in harbour entrance last year good spot - and will try the band stand in tenby as well. |
