| Dear All My angling mates and I are planning an overnight fishing trip this weekend (28th / 29th May) at the Gower Peninsular. Having only ever fished the Mumbles, and the first bay west of the pier (the name of which I forget) I was wondering if anyone could recommend other venues that are 1.) Safe for us to fish over night, 2.) Reasonably accessible by car, and 3.) Fishing well! We’re preferably looking for rock / sand marks. The tide on Saturday is as follows: High: 09.30 (8.2m) Low: 15.13 (1.9m) High: 21.56 (8.4m) Any advice greatly appreciated! Regards R |

| Re: Gower Peninsular this Weekend blue pool bay is a good venue fella.. you need to go on the north gower road and folow the road to llangenith. just befor llangenith youll come to a rondabout, follow the sign to brouhton. park in the visators carpark... walk throhogh the caravan site, then youll pick up the sign for blue pool 1km..follow the coastle path. eventially youll come on top of a cliff, look down and yoll see a small deep pool............... make your way down on the path, then on to the rocks. excellent smoothond fishing to crab, and the bass are in close. let us know how you get on fella.. good luck. dar. ![]() |
