| A few hours on the arm. Some decent weather at last... spent a few hours out on the Arm hoping for a few bites. Fished from 9 till 2 right over low water. No bites for the first half hour using worm, so I put some herring from the freezer on & was imediately rewarded with a nibble. A whiting of about 8oz, as soon as it was back in the water the light rod was nodding away and this resulted in a small rockling (5b). Whiting prooved to be the most prevcelant of fishes throughout the day mainly around half a pound with the best not quite nudging the pound. Sporadically other species would show Had a pouting on worm & two dabs on the herring. ![]() ![]() As the tide started to flood the dogfish started to show, they put up a good fight on the light rod (10 ft Kingfisher float, think it came from Argos) Later start tomorrow so I will probably hit the beach, have heard on some turbos showing, couldn't fail on them last year __________________ Spahill <:--- --- --- --- It was this big --- --- --- ---:> |

| Re: A few hours on the arm. Didn'r renew I got a long arm one, fishing a lot more awkward, no good in icy/windy weather & dangerous when wet or swells, but at least there are some fish. __________________ Spahill <:--- --- --- --- It was this big --- --- --- ---:> |
