| A nice chat with Mr Cod ..... Had a tump of bait in the fridge ,left over from the weekends boat trip ,so headed off ,to a favorite mark near Penarth ,to see if Mr Cod was about , arrived 3 hours before HW ,and planned on just fishing till the lug was used up or HW ,which ever came first ,due to work in the morning . Plenty of rattling bites ,but no fish for the first couple of hours ,then a nice rod rattler, resulted in a Cod "fishfinger ",shortly after a positive bite ,game on !!!! the fish running against the tide ,felt like a decent one ,wasn`t disapointed when a big open mouth poped out of the breakers, anice Cod of 7lb 3oz ,well happy , had another cast and headed home ,with a smile on my face .... Big Baits ,in the hope of big fish , first fish was a greedy "fishfinger " ,the second was a greedy Cod !!!!..     __________________ Mike..
