PB Whiting in the wind .......

Howling westerly winds , so we were a bit limited to where to go for the weekly friday afternoon session , i`D had a fair few fish over the last week @ the Cardiff Barrage , so we decided to meet up down there,wind was howling ,but over the top and behind,so hiding behind the advertising sign ,gave a bit of shelter .

I got there first and set up , had a snotty eel and a couple of whiting ,before john arrived , fishing was pretty good all afternoon ,a couple of dozen whiting , and a rockling ,all to small baits on scratching rigs .John had a nice whiting ,and i managed a shore PB ,and nudged the forum record up a bit more with a 1lb 10 oz`er ..

An Angry sky ,but the fish were on the feed all afternoon

A fair few tidy whiting for us both

Plenty of activity in and out of the dock ,seemed to stir up the fish

Day was rounded off with amoody red sunset
