A second nights scratching ,results in 5 species ......

With bait still lurking ,after last nights Barrage session, i couldn`t say no to getting out fishing again today , spent a couple of hours at Sully this afternoon ,fishing and doing a bit of casting practice, manage dto catch the largest green eel i`ve seen for a long while .

Headed off to the Barrage again this evening , scratching rigs on both rods ,bites and fish straight away , well over a couple of dozen fish , 5 species ,so well happy ...Whiting ,5 bearded Rockling ,Green Eel ,Flounder ,and Dab. headed off home with a smile on my face ,nothing over 3/4 Lb ,but brilliant fun...

Im gagging to get out and catch some fish but my bloody car is knackered so I am stuck at home. I may have to get the train soon though, I feel withdrawal coming, I know how the other passengers will love me sitting next to them covered in lug juice lol !!!

Do it!
Due to not driving, I often get the bus.
I can walk to same area in the around the same time as getting the bus, but it saves a lot of heavy kit carrying.
My fishing 'outfit' (Knackered old jeans, Tracksuit bottoms for decency with jeans, big old fleece jumper thing) is sometimes just 'bagged' after a trip and put on again next time.

First come the funny looks as I get on the bus with bloody great Rod Holdall with tripod strapped to the side.....
Then the waft starts.... , and it's even better this time of year as the heating is on too!
Has been a few times when I thought myself that I stink.... so what others must go through.

Venue with nearby train station...?
Always looking to broaden my horizons, and more often than not walk over the train station bridge when I heading out/back fishing!
