| Weeding out the fishfingers @ Penarth Howling winds again today , so took the dog for a walk on Penarth beach , nice flat sea ,wind staying mainly westerly , so decided to finish walking the dog ,and nip back home to get the rods ....Set up to the left of the pier ,nice and sheltered from the wind by the cliffs behind.1 big bait and 1 scratching ,plenty of false bites from weed and a few proper ones too .Landed a large seaweed fish ,followed by several more , then the Cod "fishfingers started to feed , all in all a pleasant couple of hours on the beach.... Nice conditions for catching weedfish and Cod "fishfingers".....     __________________ Mike..
