| Twas an Eely good day despite the weather .... Back to normal day ,xmas humbug all over , so what did i do , missed my alarm overslept ,so thought i`ll have a chat with the boss (myself) and give me the day off . Bit of worm lurking in the fridge ,so a dangle was in order,only trouble 40+mph winds , WNW ,so not many options ,decided to go to the Cardiff Barrage ,but that didnt last long ,the water pouring out of the sluices was like a white water rapid , lines in and within a minuite a tonne of weed and crap hanging on to em . Time for plan B , moved over to the inner basin of the barrage ,tucked in on the side steps for shelter from the weather .Ragworm on scratching rigs produce a wrigly slimey green eel ,so happy day for the species hunt , didged the heavy showers for a while before heading home . Cardiff Barrage inner basin , a good place to shelter in high winds , some fish lurking too......     The weather was a bit wet and windy __________________ Mike..
