last and first fishing report of the year...2011/12

Hit the beach at Barry last evening ,with a couple of the Team Ammo Wales boys ,as my usual partner in crime is in West Wales ,swimming round in a pint of beer. A pretty brisk SW wind ,whipped up a fair old surf ,so set up on top of the pebbles out of the way.Big rag baits on pennels,just in case Mr Cod was about, bites came thick and fast,plenty of decent whiting ,best one a pound and a half , brought 2011 to a close and started of 2012 with a bang ,taking of which we were treated to a huge new year firework display all around us....


First points on the board for Team Drunken Dragons for the 2012 species hunt too ,and i think i might have pinched the forum shore record of Cpt whiting himself !!!....

Wet and windy , but the whiting were biteing !!!!

A pound and a half Steve , they were all a good size ,not a pin whiting in sight for a change .
