| Penarth RNLI rescue , kyacking + strong tides ,the Bristol channel can be lethal Fishing in flat conditions off the ranny in strong westerly winds seems ok ,till you slip anchor and get dragged towards the Ranny ,which can be lethal with wind over tide conditions , luckily the guys were assisted by a passing Zapcat ,and helped ashore by the Penarth RNLI inshore lifeboat .Some onboard video footage shows the ranny ,with a small but lethal swell , and the "comfortable conditions " inshore ,luckily these guys got away wit it ,but it makes you think.... http://www.rnlivideolibrary.org.uk/g...x?vid=p3deke2t __________________ Mike..
