| Whitewater ,the final Shark trip of 2011, and oh what a cracker it was .. The weathers been horendous in west wales for weeks ,i had an invite of Andy Griffith to fish with him ,on thursday ,this was going to be the last shark trip ,as i`d already aranged to give Andrew a hand to bring the boat back on friday for the winter cod season in Penarth. The forecast was for a windy start ,calming off durung the day,so we decided to go for it .As usual the weather mand ropped the ball ,it was windy to start and got worse thro the day  As it was the final trip of the year we headed out to a mark called the graveyard ,40 miles offshore !!!! .Andrew calls it that coz you wouldn`t want to fall in the water ,as it infested with sharks. We set up and got ready for action wasn`t too long ,before a large blue was around the boat ,a quick drop of a bait in front of her nose ,and bang we were in, the action dint stop all day . A total of 24 sharks boated and 3 lost ,10 over 100Lb ,best blue of the day @ 130LB .There were so many sharks in the chum trail we lost 7 full sets of gear ,with the sharks chopping tho the lines with their tales as they patrolled trail....An awesome end to the season thats seen only 35 % of the trips go ahead due to the weather , over 450 blues and 72 porbeagles boated and released safely ...             __________________ Mike..
