Low Water Mark?

Hi all, I fancy a session tomorrow afternoon and was wondering if anyone knows of any low water marks around the cardiff/penarth area?

Any help appreciated,

Dave

Re: Low Water Mark?

sorry

only just seen this there are quite a few

st marys well bay spit....be carefull not to get cut off by incomming tide.
sully island...be carefull of the climb
Cold knap....be carefull of anyone from barry

the further afield you have ogmore and monknash, both fish better at night.

john

Re: Low Water Mark?

Thanks a lot John, I ended up on the sand spit after some more research. I normally fish down lavernock way anyway but never fished at low water before.

No codling about but got 2 decent sized doggies which I was happy with because I hit 5 blanks in a row before that! Got soaked too, didnt realise how fast the water would come in! Should have guessed really after the other 10 people left! lol
