| Plenty of wind over high water Monday a morning trip to the Afan mouth with fishy baits in a strong wind. Just a whiting to show for the minimal effort, lucky to see the bite really.  Tuesday Met up with Dave at the same place, wind was even stronger & we packed up an hour early for a cup of coffee. Dave caught his first shore ray, a cute little butterfly.  I wound in to avoid the slag ship (cement not 18-30  ) leaving dock & caught a doggie. Wednesday Off to the loughor for some flatties & no crabs....OK the crabs are still there.  I had a nice keepable flatty which I forgot to photograph after finding my scales wern't working (cheap foriegn rubbish). Then an absolute monster which I cannot identify.  Thursday Standing in surf on Aberavon to use up mudrag & rag, 3 little schoolies. __________________ Spahill <:--- --- --- --- It was this big --- --- --- ---:>     |
