A cracking days Sharking @Milford Haven...

Had a call on wedsnesday from a firend ,whohad the opertunity of taking advantage of a cancelation ,on Whitewater, his usual fishing buddy couldn`t make it. As all my trips had been blown off this year,and the weather for Thursday was calm i jumped at the chance

Up at 4.30,picked up Andy the skipper of Whitewater on the way thro ,then straight off to head off to Milford Haven . We left the jetty around 7.30 in thick fog ,which made for an interesting start ,although 30 miles offshore the sun soon burnt off the fog and we had a plaeasnt day.

Only 2 of us fishing for the day , we managed 15 sharks berween us 8 to Andy G and 7 to myself .....I had the best Blue Shark @138 LB, also plenty of garfish action on light travel rods in between Shark runs..

I just watched a programme by John Wilson and im sure he was shark fishing at Milford Haven, said it was fantastic.

Yes he was ,that program was made about 4 years ago on Whitewater . John Wilson and Martin Bowler regulaly fish with Andrew.
