Penarth Esplanade ....another early Cod

Had a bit of worm ,so decided to fish the last 2 hours of the flood ,a monster tide ,so fishing the ebb would be impossible ,between 5 knots of tide and weed ,little chance of holding bottom. Set up to the left of the pier ,scratching rigs and worm baits , nice Codling first cast on lug ,and a snotty eel,as the sun went down ,a pleasant couple of hours fishing ,might have to have another go in the morning to use up the bait ...

Nice easy fishing on the front to the left of the pier ....

Well in there. Good to see the codling are coming back, I may get 1 this season as last yr was crap!!! Still im dead jealous of the marks you get to fish Mike, some of the spots look stunning!!
