Early cod @ the Ranny

After this mornings unsucessfull cod hunt at the foreshore , had a tump of bait left so decided to get back out and try the Ranny after dark ,for a few hours to see if any codling were showing , wasn`t disapointeted fishing 3 hours upto high 2 nice codling around the 1 1/2 lb mark came on the first 2 casts ,dropped another later in the evening ...Mission acomplished ... bait still left ,so may have to sneek out tommorow evening in search of a sole .

I hope we get a few here this year, it was dire last year. I diddnt manage to get one sizable one all winter :-(
