| Cardiff Foreshore ,dodging the wind ..... Blowing a hoolie all day from the SW , so we decided the only place with a little bit of shelter might be the "Monkey Pole " at Cardiff Foreshore. Wasn`t too bad ,started fishing on the beach (Industrial Wasteland !!!) Then moved up on top as the tide flooded. Pretty uneventful evening ,John beached a snotty eel ,and a last cast flounder . I skillfully managed to harpoon a mini shore crab with the grip wire of my lead ,and last cast hook the Monkey Pole itself .The Monkey Pole marks the old sewer outlet ,and really resembles and industrial wasteland more than a beach. John had the only 2 fish on the day ,a snotty eel ,and a last cast flounder afterdark.. __________________ Mike..
