new pbs for full monty

Alrite folks was fortunate to get out sharking again on sunday so headed off at 06.00 hrs from the mackeral stage,was a little choppy on the way out but after 2 1/2hrs we reached the spot which was carfully chosen by the skipper,so it was in with the dubby and then the rods we also had 5 onboard this trip which was quite entertaining at one point as 4 of us were into sharks at the same time which left yoppers to the task of landing them???? Anyway 2 of us lost ours but we landed 2 of them.first shark to the boat was a very nice but mean looking porby once measured came bk at 82lbs

A new pb for bevs a good start to the day and it wasnt long after and bevs was into another fish which we could tel by the head shaking that it was another little bullet weighing 47lbs

It looked like it was going to be the skippers day today 2 fish in the space of half hour and low and be hold his rod went again but this was a bit different as there wasn't much of a scrap with this one in between all that my rod went and i was in to my first of the day once bevs was boated it was a very upset little blue of 34lb

who was not ready to throw the towel in i had a bit of a scrap with mine and after a short while we had a good idea of what it was yes you guessed it another porby and once boated and measured came bk at a very nice 65lb of pure muscle

As soon as the rods went bk out then cloudy was into one which we boated fairly easy as it was only a small blue estimated weight 0f between 27 to 30lb no pic of this as he was thrashing about like a teenager when they spit the dummy lol!! While all that was happening clive the dingbat jenkins was into a nice fish as he could hardly speak to us!! We had to keep telling him to breathe??? When he did manageto get it to theboat he turned out to be another nice porby but unfortunatly we lost it at the bk of the boat but he was a bit bigger than bevs first one so we would say in the 90lb region unlucky clive still not in the club??? It wasnt long after that bit of drama and my rod went again and i new after about 10 mins this was a better fish which turned out to be a very nice blue of 106lb

Then we did manage to land a fish for clive even thou it was only a blue of 55lb

He was off the mark yoppers then decided he wanted a piece of the action and we landed a nice blue of 65lb

For him thats 3 trips 3 sharks nice one!! As u will c in the backround of yoppers thats my rod bent over and yes i was into my 3rd of the day which again turned out to be a blue of 76lb

Cloudy then landed another small one which we did measure this time and it came bk at 30lb while the boys were sorting cloudy out my rod took off again and this seemed to be a bit better as he took a fair chunk of line off the reel and u guessed it it was another porby and a new pb for me as it weighed 77lb

If u had to ask my back im sure it would tel u 177lb !!!!! Lol cloudy again was into another fish which he said wasn't big but bigger than his previous and once by the boat it was a blue which again we lost at the back of the boat and i would put a weight on it in the region of 70lb as it looked pretty similar to my one earlier it was nearing the time to head off home but bevs being bevs had to have the the last laugh and not only was he into his 4th of the day but also a hatrick of porbys which came back with a weight of 50lb

A nice way to end the day must also tel u that we seen a whale out there today which must av been at least 25ft if not bigger what a sight,so counting the boated and ones lost at the back we had a total of 14 sharks 8 blues and 6 porbys and at least 7 missed but hey what a day cheers!!!
