| Windy again Didn'ty fancy it but had to find something to do for 4 hours. on the ebb from just after high so positioned myself on the short arm. Half heartedly fished some very dead worm that was poisoning the fridge with some mack on the other. Quick chat with a new guy on there (Richard) who had had a couple of doggies with his mate further down. As he was a newbie I showed him some rigs & spotted a nibble which turned out to be a little snotty, sent back rapidly without damage to rig. Wind picked up & picked up, but still managed to see another little eel on Mack this time. Time to renew permit soon... I can count decent fish I have caught over the year on 1 hand, can count decent fish I have seen on 1 finger, yes I know it's less, but B.A. fits on both. It's comfy, close and peacefull during the winter, plus I have the hours to kill. Always helps with the species hunt & maybe I can tempt something other than sunburn over the rest of the summer, between the monsoon conditions. Gentle winds forecast for tomorrow, tides .5 up, 6 down, .5 up.... nutts. bit off plugging over the bottom methinks, unless more wind & rain sweeps in. __________________ Spahill <:--- --- --- --- It was this big --- --- --- ---:> |
