Re: How to get to monkash beach/??

Ideal place to fish is top left corner of the picture....

To get to Monknash you leave the car park (£2 in the honesty box)turn left go 100yds ,turn right ,and walk down the road to a gate/style ,which leads you in to the "haunted wood " ( spookey at night !)...a long walk thro the wood is great on the way down.

As you come out of the wood you get a glimpse of the sea ,in the distance ....eventually you get to the beach !

Turn right ,over the rough stuff and about another 1/4 of a mile and your on the beach ,far enough along to be fishing clean ground ,looking back the "v" in the cliff is where you walk onto the beach.

Can be, low water on spring tides ,longer the cast ,better chance you have , its ok during the day ,so long as its not blazing sunshine , nights can be better ,so long as your not afraid of the ghosts in the wood ...

Only fish it for 2 hours on the way up .... any more & you stand a chance of being cut off by the tide.
Good Luck.
