| One day the weatherman will get it right !!!!!! Our plan was formulated last weekend , with the weather forecast looking favourable ,it was to head off to Sully to fish low and then pop over to the Green Light in Barry for the flood . Happy days sun shineing ,hardly a breath of wind ,but that didnt last long the wind came up and it was like an autumn day ,fished 2 hours either side of low ,had a few strap congers ,a mumbles marlin ,and a suprise codling for John. Left Sully and headed over to Barry ,its was blowing a hoolie ,so decided to give the Green light a miss, and headed home for tea .... __________________ Mike.. | Re: One day the weatherman will get it right !!!!!! K & I hit the beach expecting lightish winds too. Over 4 hours & not even a nibble. The surf was really confusing, predominately straight on then you would get swells at 45 degrees from the left, then the right, then left & right together. I would swear there were offshore Formula 1 oil tankers racing in the bay. Must have been using stealth technology cos I couldn't see them. __________________ Spahill <:--- --- --- --- It was this big --- --- --- ---:> |
