wanted to try somewhere different,came up with w/light,fished 2hrs to low,and 3hrsup,myself & spahill fished 2rods each with diff baits and not a bite,to cap it off fell on rocks and rod & reel cascaded down rocks,result ruined abu 6600,and then walking back up to car, humping gear, pulled tendons in my leg, all in all dont think ill fish it again,any info on best times to fish that venue ,baits etc,is green light better venue? appreciated.

White light can fish well for dogs ,huss ,good sized eels, most species of ray ,and the ocasional Smoothound medium tides better ,fish low up...... and down 3 hours

Have a look here A bit of a ray day at the White Light.

Green Light fishes much the same ,but access is difficult ,with a long walk.. fishing can be good tho ,just 50/50 if your car will be in 1 piece when you get back to it ...

Its worth a few goes , try some differant size tides ,and times of the day , persverance usually pays off....

Yes ,mullet too .....Good Bass and Mullet also in Barry dock ..

are you allowed to fish the dock?,any hot spot you can recommend,where is the dock from the w/light.

Yes you can fish the dock , parking is easy within 5 yards of the dock itself, drive along the docks link road ,dock is on your left ,plenty of places ,just look for the people fishing ,usually a few there ...

cheers mike,thanks for the info,will deffo give the dock a go,heard its fishing well for bass at moment on lures.
