| Brief trip to the beach Had a few hours to kill this morning, so grabbed some rag from Dragon & hit Aberavon between A & B. Usual light rod/rigs, 2 oz straight lead not holding in surf ![]() so switched to a knobly 2oz doghnut, which was borderline, but I stuck with it rather than going for a gripper.. Soon into a fish, a small flounder. ![]() Not a prolific morning, thought some decent bass may show with the surf, but ended up with 5 flatties of a similar size, 3 micro bass (handsize) and a reasonable schoolie. Fish were feeding better towards the top of the tide but I had to leave 1/2 hour before high water. Plenty of others fishing but not sure what else was caught. __________________ Spahill <:--- --- --- --- It was this big --- --- --- ---:> |
