Forum record broken ????

Had an 8 hour stint on short arm, which was shortened to 6 hours by the wind getting tooo strong, the water going West and only doggies being left.

Popped over to the rocks by the witches teeth & had a decent breeze straight in the chops. Guy alrerady there pulling in strings of mack so after setting up the main rods, got the spinning rod out. Oooops forgot the dexters.... luckily I had some 6inch wobbles in with the hopefull plugs.
After a few chucks I had my first Joey of the year, who promptly flipped on the rocks & headed back down to the water.
A few chucks later the rod bent over & a proper mack came in, soon after I had a pollack so I took the photo

Returned the pollack & went after some more.... nope but did manage a forum record!!
11.5 oz

Come on folks, either this monster has to be the "fish of June" or someone can catch a bigger one. I won't bleat if you use feathers. well I might a little.

Anyway with 3 fresh Macks that was it for the hard work.
Bottom fishing commenced & dogs showed up. No suprise there, I was feeding them sandeel as well, untill I remembered the fresh Mack was cheaper & needed using.
After a year of frozen stuff the fresh looks so much more appetising & stays on the hooks like glue.

Tight lines all I'm getting dirty looks from K as soaps have finished & I don't think it's bed time.
