Gorseinon Goldfish in a gale .....

Drove over to Barry to fish the beach at Cold Knap ,a stiff westerly breeze was the forecast,as usual the jolly old weatherman made a bit of a miscalculation, it was blowing a westerly hoolie

Against common sense and my better judgement decided to give it a go. Lasted about 1 1/2 hours ,wind was strong ,blowing the tripod over and the seat box off down the beach ,having said that it was afish a cast .

The Knap beach is easy to fish ,parking within 20 yards , today even the seagulls weren`t flying in the wind (not a good sign !!)




Mumbles Marlin and their lesser known cousin Gorsenion Goldfish were on the feed ,a fish a cast ,till i couldnt take the wind anymore ....

That place looks so sterile and grey - i doubt i could even last 1 and a half hours there without feeling i wanted to end it all
its a right bummer when the tripod goes over - i broke a caster earlier in the same situation

Is a bit bland ,but can throw up some seriously good rays , was the only place to go really all the good rock marks would have been suicide in a big westerly .
