| Ogmore Ray mission!!!! with the wife away i decided to have a real good bash at the rays. got down to ogmore for late afternoon and the last hour of the ebb intending on fishing it all the way up and a couple of hours of the ebb in the early hours. what can i say apart from dissapointment.......dogs dogs dogs....nailing everything before any rays can get near a bait...there are so many of them i'm thinking of giving up trying to fish for rays this year....its a good half a dozen sessions without a result now and i'm completely hacked off with them...finished up with well over 20 of the buggers...all really skinny and SMALL...every cast a bite....just some doggies must have been so small they couldn't get the bait in. did manage a starry smouthound pup in between dogs.    john __________________ 2012 targets - 180 yard measured cast, 10lb bull huss, 12lb blonde, 10lb hound, 8lb small eyed, spotted ray any size     |

| Re: Ogmore Ray mission!!!! I must have landed 8 or 10 in the couple of hours i was there, keep pluggin away , the dogs will calm down and we`ll be into the raymonds , its still early doors .
