| bright start , sunny end Gave the beach a try today with some mudrag. 1 down 2 up, not my favourite time but it was needed after a days painting & general spring cleaning. Fished 2 rods, beachcaster (dvice) at range & carp in close. First put in & I had a flounder at range on a size 6 wishbone.  Second put in a single knock on the bcaster. That was it. Sun came out just as I was leaving. The reason for the cleaning on Monday.
