Re: Knab rock 11/3/12 Welcome to the forum! I have gone for fish baits... can catch whiting still, chance of rays & turbot, also the great blank saving doggies are not adverse to a bit of flesh. Cannot buy a bite on sandeel yet. __________________ Spahill <:--- --- --- --- It was this big --- --- --- ---:>

Re: Knab rock 11/3/12 Have to agree with Pingu. If I was fishing the rocks at night it would be Mackerel. But from the beach at the moment I would prefer Ragworm for the Plaice, but I still like to use Lug as a cocktail. __________________ Check my blog for a daily fishing forecast from Weymouth, Portland, Chesil Beach & Kimmeridge Bay. www.fishingtails.co.uk

Re: Knab rock 11/3/12 Well I had to go for worm but all those baits are good for different species and at different times of a very big tide, worm just tends to slow the dogs down. __________________ 20 years of marine biology can't be wrong but apparently it is
