| The Rev James 27/1 Visited a new venue today... the Loughor estuary. At a mark I know as the Reverand James, so called as you turn off the main road by a pub called the Rev. James. Arrived slightly early and there wasn't alot of water in front of us, but it soon filled up with a bit of a rip in the main channel a few yards in front of us. View downstream to the bridges between Llanelli & Swansea(ish)  View across  View Upstream  Scary view behind  Fished 1 up 1 down with maddies, 1 with bling, 1 without, all distances across the channel. It was slow to say the least. after 2 hours (just after high water) I wound in to find this dustbin lid on the end.  Unfortunately the dustbin belonged to a dolls house... Some time later with the odd flake of snow falling K started to get the odd nibble. She cast out herself, instead of me positioning the bait, and soon after brought in this flattie.  Best of the year so far  and considerably bigger than mine .Left soon after as the Easterly wind was biting harder than the fishies.
