| Aberavon 23rd Jan Expected to fish 2.5 either side of high. arrived 18:30 & went out in front of chippy. Beachcaster with whole squid & lug belted out & left. Light rod scratching in close. Nearly hw before any action, a 5b rockling in close. Next a tremble on the long range rod & a drop back. took smome winding in as hardly any line left on spool after moving up beach so far. Result. DOGFISH. Another rockling as tide receded before phone went 2 hours early to pick up K.
