| Penarth Beach .....Jan 11th Had a pound or so of worm in the fridge ,left over from the weekends boat trip.and with rain forecast for the rest of the week from around midnight ,decided to pop down to Penarth beach for a few hours to try and tease out a species or two . Arrived @8ish and fished thro to high water at 11pm. Fished with 2 hook scratching rigs on both rods ,plenty of quick rattling bites ,resulting in a few Cod fishfingers ,no other species ,and managed to time the walk back to the van to perfection ,it started tipping down with rain ,just as i sat in the van. Still got lots of worm left ,so gonna have to go fishing again tommoz if the rain isnt too heavy.   __________________ Mike..
