| -8.......Frozen Bait ,and Nooooooo Fish @ St Marys Well Bay Decided to fish St MarysWell Bay this morning to hide out of the north easterly breeze ,planned to meet John down there for 8.30.. to let the frost die down first ......got in the van ,to be greeted by the flashing red light on the dash ,low temp warning - 8.3  ... Reved up the van ,heated screen and seat heater on ,and 5 mins later ready to go .... Arrived at the mark ,John was setting up and gave me a cursory where you been for being 5 mins late ,nothing like some friendly abuse to get the day off to a good start !!.  Got set up and punched a bait out ...not a nibble ,after about an hour the worms ,actually frooze ,odd putting ragworm thats crunchy on the inside on the hooks.... We tried hard all day ,fresh baits every 20 mins ,not a bite ,plenty of crab action meant we didn`t need to strip the hooks ,as they came in bare every time . Closest thing to a fish bending the rod was the rocky bottom ...  We had a visit from the Dog that lives in the house nearby ,on the scrounge for tit bits of food or bait.  Pleasant day out even if the fishing was pants ,and the temperature below freezing all day...... __________________ Mike..
