| black pipe Newport 23/11 The wife was going out so i thought i'd have a couple of hours dangling at a spot on the way home from work. high tide was 8pm so got to the mark after going down a suspension busting dirt lane about 5.30...to no water.i knew it was a spot that you can only fish 2hrs either side of high set the rods up and by 6pm there was enough water to cast into. bait was rag which isn't the best up here from the shore at the moment...the cod want lug, lug or lug not a fantastic night but i did have 3 fishfinger codling a couple of rockling and a surprise bass about 1 1/2lb- 1 3/4lb...will put a picture up later as i thought it must have been a cod...good wallop and slack line which i had to reel like crazy to connect with..will stick a pic up later. john __________________ 2012 targets - 180 yard measured cast, 10lb bull huss, 12lb blonde, 10lb hound, 8lb small eyed, spotted ray any size     |
