| Quick update on Port Talbot Haven't been out as much recently. K & I popped down the beach last weekend to give the night tide a bash. I fished peneled whole squid on a running ledger at various ranges hoping for a bass or a decent ray. Had a couple of runs/knocks & captured a couple of doggies & a double shot of whiting. K fished a 2 hook flapper with chunks of mackerel on a light rod & managed 2 thornbacks of around 2lb, a smaller small eyed, plenty of doggies, a pout and half a dozen whiting. Monday - I fished for 4 hours over low water during the morning, light rod with sandeel on a running ledger. One tiny knock - result... naff all. A few dogs off the short arm the previous week. It's blooming freezing here now - central heating may have to go on soon! Brrrrrrr. __________________ Spahill <:--- --- --- --- It was this big --- --- --- ---:> |
