| P talbot mid sept. Been "forced" to fish the ebb tides for the past week - much prefer the flood. As a result been struggling - flatties from the beach seem scarce & wind has been a little strong ro spot delicate bites. Winter is definately here - had small pout & whiting from the short arm along with crabs & snotties. Pout loved the dead lug I had left over from digging in Swansea :+), eels only took the fresh rag. Managed to snare a flattie this morning just after hw standing in the surf with river feeder rod & 1 oz bomb. Going to be my first winter on the beach - should be interesting or very cold & boring ![]() __________________ Spahill <:--- --- --- --- It was this big --- --- --- ---:> |
