| Corus Short Arm 4/8/10 Another quick trip to the Short Arm today. Arived around 08:40 with high water at 12:52 - I had to leave at 12:10. Wind was very brisk from the west so the float was out of the Q. Settled for week old worm popped up in an attempt to avoid crabs with the other rod straight down the side with a 1oz weight for mini species. Well I managed 2 more Gobies before spotting a very delicate bite on the pop ups late on. Wow a bit of weight  . well compared to a Goby .Small eyed ?? so long since I've seen one...  Had a couple more trembles where rig came back twisted so suspect little snotties still in the area. Felt the fishing was about to improve - but time was up  .Have 4 hours down to bottom of tide tomorrow... 2 hours later & I would fish the beach... will have to see what the wind is doing. __________________ Spahill <:--- --- --- --- It was this big --- --- --- ---:>     |
