Re: Jackstones 27/7/10

Wednesday 28th - gave it another 4 hours today.
Wind was a bit fresher & tide slightly bigger.
Only a small schoolie to show for the effort (minimal) of putting more worms on the hook every 10 mins or so - crabs were taking them off for me .
missed 1 small rattly bite early on, on the party squid rod - hooks were larger today on the 2 up rig, I dragged out of retirement, was supposed to keep the crabs jumping which only worked on the upper hook (5ft above weight).

Going for a blank tomorrow evening with big rods & BIG baits.

Looks like a hell of a jigsaw, but it looks like a great mark to fish

Re: Jackstones 27/7/10

Thursday - 4up from lowish water. Big baits as promised - missed 1 little nibble towards the end & blanked.

Friday - just before high to just after low - 2 rods - 1 large bait, 1 with rag on a scratcher.
Three snotty little rig tangling endangered eels.... all returned.
