Mackerel are in oh yes.

[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]Alarm goes off 2.30am, lifted head of pillow, ow carling knocking on head, crawled down stairs, make cup of tea, and check we got everything, before i knew it here comes my son and son in law who thinks he's nigel friggin mansel. Got stains in my trousers to prove it left house 3.30 got in rossilli at 4.45, thinking about the walk down the ledges anyway the two younger t...s were down there about 10 mins before me. We fished 6 rods alltogether, two feathering and four with bait fished at different distances. I cast out first, and before i could put my rod in the rest, bang a cracking little knock reeled in and it was a gurnard, we all then proceeded to have lots of gurnard and dogfish, and loads of mackerel, 4 or 5 at once most of the time, great morning had by all can't wait to go again. ps most of the mackerel were caught by dragging the weight across the bottom. pps got photos but don't know how to put them on here soz.

Hi Mate

Thanks for your reply. I've uploaded the image to photobucket.com, but I don't think I have added the images to my thread properly. Could you have a look at it please and let me know if i've done it right.

thanks

We were useing silver traces hard to explain but anything that was really shiney and fish it on the bottom, bring it in really slow, you could feel it bounceing on the seabed. keep rod down pull in then wind down
