Aberavon Sands

A quick update.
We have relocated to Wales and been without the internet for almost a month . Hopefully will be able to post more catch reports now closer to the sea along with a few more blanks I suppose.
Have only managed two trips - both to Aberavon.

St Valentines day - fished a couple of hundred yards to the West of Jackstones.
Fished from about 6 till 8.30 just over the top of the tide (lucky as no tide timetable) with manky mackerel & squid strips, managed to snaffle a v small whiting.
St Davids day - fished 100yds to the west of Renos from 6 till 9 ish having found a tide timetable & was amazed at the tide turning an hour early. (note to self - when checking tides a couple of days before the trip on 1st of month MAKE SURE you check the next months page).
Same manky bait as before.
Still.... just as the tide was on the way out I pulled in this monster.

Points for the team.

Will be kept busy trawling through the catch reports for the past month or so. . . .It's good to be back.
