| 10lb off the foreshore Sorry that should read £10 off the foreshore managed to obliterate a lb of rag and a box of squid on a 5 hour session down the foreshore this evening. whiting every chuck, i think i only had 1 cast which i didn't have a 6-12" whiting or codling...even had three on a portsmouth loop rig...1 on each of the pennel hooks and one on the hook above. Must have had over 30 whiting and codling This was all using 1 rod too.... the other rod baited with whole squid remained motionless for most of the night until it sprung into action just before high and i had a tug of war with a grey horrible slimey, bad tempered conger before it won the tug of war 10yards out....saves me the trouble i suppose. all in all a really enjoyable night might have to think of a run to chesil soon before the cod vanish from there too john __________________ 2012 targets - 180 yard measured cast, 10lb bull huss, 12lb blonde, 10lb hound, 8lb small eyed, spotted ray any size     |
